" Academy Award winning actor Morgan Freeman has been injured in a serious car accident in Mississippi.
According to police reports, the "Dark Knight" star was in a one-car accident around 11:30pm Sunday night north of the small town of Ruleville. Freeman was on his way home to Charleston when the wreck happened.
He was airlifted from the accident scene to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn. According to Freeman's publicist, Morgan has suffered a broken shoulder and arm and appears to be in a bit of pain.
We're told alcohol is not suspected as a factor in the wreck. "
I always thought of this man as invincible. I guess it's because he always plays wise and omniscient. I hope he's okay.
